Mystique||Open||Sneaking onto Campus
Magneto’s orders had been clear and concise: infiltrate the X-mansion do some reconnaissance work, look for possible recruits, and most of all watch the x-men. A simplistic mission for Mystique, but who else could do it. Not to mention there were two students she was yearning to encounter immensely….Rogue & Kurt.
The blue beauty departed from the Brotherhood’s house at three in the morning. Silence had fallen over the street while everyone else in the area snoozed. Her brilliant yellow eyes shown brightly in the night quite similar to a feline. The combat boots she wore made a clumping sound on the asphalt as she strutted down the street. Slowly her midnight blue skin started to ripple as if she were a walking pond and a pebble had just plummeted into her. Her combat boot and risque attire vanished in their place raggedy jeans and a crop top. She might be pretending to be a teen, but she would be damned if she didn’t look hot. As she walked the frightening, fierce, blue mistress morphed into a typical teenage girl. Mystique was a con artist before her appearance had even balanced she already have snatched a history, lineage, etc from her reservoirs in her mind. Finally she reached the corner of the street where her taxi sat awaiting her arrival. She slipped in the backseat, and gave the cabbie the address nonchalantly. He would be dead before they reach the manor. The poor fool might remember that this girl was not picked up on the side of the highway as her tale suggested. He was but a loose end, and Mystique loathed loose ends fervently.
After a comfortably brief ride to the north corner of Salem, New York, a quick murder, and a stop for a latte Mystique donned in the skin of a stranger hobbled up to the X-Mansion. Turning on her heels she faced the speaker-box.
“Hello. Is anyone there? Is this the home of Charles Xavier. I need help. Please someone open up….”
Pleased with her performance she clung to the iron gate tears endlessly falling down her face. A shiver coursed through her. It could not be denied Mystique was one hell of an actress.
